Several members have notified us that they have received emails notifying them that an unauthorized third party may have accessed their accounts and that access to sensitive account features has been limited. It then instructs them to login to their account on E-Branch by clicking on a link.

This is an attempt to obtain your account number, PIN, and other confidential information. The email did not originate from Concho Educators Federal Credit Union. It is what is known as “Phishing” – an attempt by unauthorized individuals to gather your account information. Concho Educators will never ask for such information by email.

We have reported this incident to the Federal Authorities. If you responded to this email with your account information, PIN, or other sensitive account information, please contact us immediately at the following phone number or email address so we may take the proper action.
